After the first 22 seconds, the scene transitioned to Petey, who was holding a bomb as part of his plan. He shouted, "Help! It's a bomb!" to get the attention of Officer Knight and his canine partner, Greg. While waiting for their arrival, Petey continued to sing, using this as his signal to escape. After an additional 83 seconds, he yelled, "Help! It's a bomb!" again just before making his move. Officer Knight arrived with a pair of wire-cutting scissors, asking his dog for assistance, but received an adorable growl in response. Misinterpreting the sound as the color green, he began to sing along with the dog. In the final moments of the song, Officer Knight suddenly remembered that dogs are colorblind, just as the bomb exploded, leaving both him and his dog incapacitated on the ground, appearing lifeless but still alive in critical condition.
