As fixies—small, colorful beings with unique traits and personalities—they live secretly within machines and appliances, committed to fixing problems and ensuring everything runs smoothly. Their goal is to understand and mend what is broken, but they must keep their existence a secret. Simka and Nolik cannot afford to be seen by Tom's father or anyone else, fearing they might be captured and treated like pets or forced to work on appliances. Consequently, Tom Thomas must navigate this troubling situation all on his own.
