Just when hope seems lost, Grover transforms into Super Grover, ready to save the day. However, the Pibby corruption has other sinister intentions, summoning Count to the scene. Mr. Johnson, a survivor, joins forces with Grover, but the Count begins to hypnotize him, attempting to draw him into the corruption. In a selfless act, Grover sacrifices himself to save Mr. Johnson, taking his place in the fight against the darkness. Grover endures a brutal attack from the corruption, ultimately losing his helmet—the last piece of his former self. With Grover now transformed into a monstrous entity, Mr. Johnson realizes he must escape. He grabs Grover's helmet and makes a desperate dash for safety, evading the corruption that Grover has become. As he reaches the exit, Mr. Johnson successfully escapes into the streets beyond Sesame Street, where the corruption threatens to spread further.
